A Typical Annual Members Meeting at the Golf Club.

Parlance
Timber Ridge has been evolving through various paces since its beginnings in the 1960s. Today, most of its residents have a commonality of goals with but small differences. The home dwellings of more recent years have been very much larger and much more expensive than the earlier houses. There are only a few waterfront lots available and most of these have been recently built upon or show signs of major improvements. And the houses built adjoining the Golf greens are in greater number.
It is interesting that once in a while, the idea of a Club House is brought to discussion as if it were a new thought. Actually, promotional material dating back to the 60's had proposed a Yacht Club and Marina at what we call Treasure Point alongside the old Mill Pond. For that matter, if you check the 1908 Map of Pass Christian Isles showing the Mill Pond, you will find that a Club House was proposed near the pond even at that early date.
Such a club house would give all residents the opportunity to toast to the Sunsets as they majestically take place over the Bay of St. Louis.
It would also be intrinsically beneficial in bringing about a more homogeneous grouping of common interests. The existing Golf Clubhouse consists of members from all along the coast with only a fourth of its membership being Timber Ridge residents. Although the Club allows non-members as guests, most residents do not find it comfortable to partake.
