Timber Ridge operates through a Property Owners Association comprised of a Board of Directors in addition to several Committees in charge of various aspects of the Community.

Keith Voigts serves as President for the TRPOA. He and his wife, Gwenn, moved from Dallas in 1995 to build their home here in Timber Ridge. Their personal interests include golf, physical fitness activities, water sports, spectator sports, and travel.

After receiving his BBA major in Accounting from the University of Iowa, he furthered his education with special studies from Stanford and Harvard Universities.

As a CPA, Keith currently operates The KLV Group, a consulting firm that assists clients in a variety of financial systems and controls as well as specific financial transactions. In this capacity, Keith may be contracted for short or long-term (over six months) assignments that assist companies in need of his expertise services, such as: building a financial infrastructure, raising capital, or even expansion to international markets. His current activities also include that of being a founder, shareholder, officer and director of V Aircraft International, Inc., a startup company developing a new generation twin turbo freight aircraft.

Most folks know him as an avid organizer and promoter of community activities; such as: Establishing an annual corporate golf tournament, which in its first two years resulted in $158,000 charity contributions. He was also General Chairman of the PGA Nike Tour event that was held on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He has been president of two Kiwanis Clubs, president of the Boys and Girls Clubs, and developed numerous educational programs. All this, in addition to having been active with Metropolitan Chambers of Commerce and State Societies of CPA. It is no wonder, he was named Accounting Advocate of the Year for the State of Texas by the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Gwenn Voigts also keeps a busy agenda in local Pass Chrisitan affairs and is very involved with several Timber Ridge committees and activities. It is often said, that most people come to Timber Ridge to retire – and they do, while others wind up here with second jobs – non-paying, of course.

Members of the Timber Ridge Property Owners Association Board of Directors are a group of fine volunteers. It is this group of self-sacrificing individuals who take time away from their work, or from their golfing and fishing, to attend to needed community affairs. They meet monthly on a prearranged basis and are further subject to calls from POA members. They also participate in the various committees which are outgrowths of the Association. It is to these volunteers, that much credit must be given. Not only for their interest to serve, but for what services they render.

Work History: Taught high school biology while doing graduate work. Executive representative for Merck Pharmaceutical Co., for 33 yr. Scoutmaster-chosen to take MS. Scouts to Tokyo, Japan.

Phil Ezell – Resident since 1996 with wife Marge and 4 children – takes time for fishing and gardening. A graduate from Sam Houston State, Korean Vet, and former Insurance manager.

Gwen Hoover – Resident since 1999 with husband Paul and one son – volunteers with Hospice care and School endeavors. A graduate of LSU is active as Real Estate Broker Associate.

Nancy Witt – Resident for some years having served as TR Woman’s Club secretary and active in Ladies Golf Associations – previous employ with Ford Motor – enjoys golf, bridge, and reading.

George Chaplain — Resident since 1992 with wife Rosemary — having six children and Thirteen grandchildren and Five great-grandchildren. A graduate of Loyola University in Accounting. Served as Accountant, Chief Accountant and Controller for various corporations.

Rick Love — Resident since 1995 with wife Kay, having two sons and two grandsons. Graduate of University of Maryland and Catholic University – Mechanical Engineering. Retired from Naval Research Lab at Stennis Space Center and continues as a consultant.

Patrick Veltman — Resident with wife Judy. Graduate of St. Mary’s University, San Antonio with Business Degree. Former U.S. Army Captain and Managed territorial offices for various national Insurance companies.
